In a repeating group, photos do not scale/adjust their height properly. They all come out the same height regardless of weather the photo was taken in landscape or portrait mode. How do I fix that? I want the photo to adjust it’s height automatically such that it doesn’t skew the image. If the photo was taken in portrait mode, I don’t want to see black edges on the sides, I want it to go all the way to the edge and just increase the space needed in the vertical direction.
As far as I know, there currently isn’t a way to set the type of scaling for an image. Right now, it will scale to the full width and height.
Maybe an alternative solution for now would be to use a plugin that would scale the image properly into the fixed sized image element, then store and display the new image.
Have you checked the run-mode rendering option for the image element? I think that’s what you need
Yes, I have run-mode rendering set to “Adjust element height” which is what I want. Except that it’s not working. It doesn’t adjust the height. It doesn’t matter if the photo was taken in landscape or portrait mode, the height stays the same.
Can you share a link. For stuff like this, not being able to see the result makes it very hard to help.
