I recently started using the IPiphy plugin in order to record user IPs when they take certain actions within an app. So far, none of the IP addresses reported match the IP of the machine I or other users test from.
I always believed tools like https://www.whatismyip.com/ report your real IP… either the plugin is reporting the wrong IP or sites that check your IP are not reporting the correct IP. Does anyone know how to accurately determine user IPs?
