A user of my PDF Creator plugin recently left a 3-star review and requested support in their review. I replied to the review, made contact with the user and we fixed the issue.
They updated their review after we resolved the issue (which was much appreciated).
But I can’t update my original response:
It looks very strange to have a 5-star review saying:
‘Everything works as expected…’
and then my original response saying ‘very sorry you’ve had this issue’
My suggestion
Let plugin creators edit their responses to reviews and show the version history (much like you can do with the forum).

Your idea should be a no-brainer.
Should have already been done.
Added: I’ve said before I think there should be a pop-up asking users to rate it if they haven’t.
It can be done by the plugin developer, but it would be so much easier if Bubble did it.
I always read the reviews when looking at plugins

I support this! Though the link seems to be incorrect.

@ihsanzainal84 good spot - I’ve updated the link to what should be the correct URL, but it still doesn’t seem to be working if I open it in a browser where I’m not logged in (a bug with the idea board?).
@senecadatabase that’s an interesting idea. Out of interest, have you come across any plugins that show a pop-up to prompt a review?

I haven’t seen any plugins that show a pop-up to ask for a review.
I had mentioned this somewhere on here when we were talking about plugins.
I always check the reviews for a plugin if I’m interested in maybe using it…
it’s like Amazon, where products live and die based on reviews.
Some plugins might have 100 installs (example) and 2 reviews (example), which makes me wonder if there’s something wrong. Or, maybe a lot of installs and 2 negative reviews, which would make a lot of people pass on the plugin?
The person building the plugin could include a pop-up, but it would be hacky and not work as good as if Bubble just offered the pop-up themselves to support plugin builders.
Of course, Bubble would just offer the pop-up on the developer side after a certain amount of time

It’s a good idea. I’m not sure if Bubble actually allows plugin devs to show a popup in the editor, which is a pity (and I’m not sure if people would like it if they were shown popups in preview mode).
But great to hear you read reviews - it hopefully rewards those plugin devs who put time and care into building quality plugins and providing good support

Hey Alex, happened to me once and solved by contacting Bubble support. They somehow “unlocked” the response button and let me answer again. Real shame that’s not automated.

Definitely feels like the kind of thing that should be automated, but good that they can at least manually do it if requested.
