How do you carry out basic maths operations on data.

The most basic calculations (+, -, *, etc) you can do with simple operations in Bubble. As long as you’re referencing a number, Bubble will present you with the list of possible operations:
If you need more complex calculations, like using apostrophes, then it’s more tricky. Bubble currently doesn’t support this out of the box (but it’s on their roadmap), and you may find yourself saving info temporarily in states or by other means to get around it.
In cases like that, the Expression element from the Toolbox plugin simplifies things a lot.
