Native Mobile: What happens when creating a new build with 3/3 Live versions?

Hi,

I’m using Bubble Native Mobile on the Starter plan, and I currently have 3/3 Live versions in use.

All three Live versions are OTA versions for the same production build (1.1.1), and the latest one is currently being used by production users.

I need to create my next build and test it before releasing the new version to users.

Has anyone created a new build while already at the 3/3 Live version limit?

If so, what happened to the existing three Live versions?

Did Bubble automatically deprecate one of them, or did creating the new build affect the Live version currently being used by production users in any way?

I’m especially concerned because I previously had an issue where both iOS and Android users were shown the “Update App” screen even though I had not manually deprecated any Live version.

My main concern is simply making sure that the current production version remains available to existing users while I create and test the next build.

I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who has actually created a new build while already at 3/3 Live versions.

Thanks!

A new build automatically depreciates the oldest on a 3/3 filled slot once you validate deployment.

You need to be very careful as to which builds are pushed to the app stores because depreciating them might cause inaccessibility and prompt the users to update the app.

So always make sure in your 3 slots, the active live version is NOT depreciated and if you do, send a new build to the app stores as soon as possible.
