Need consultant help with speeding up search results (Algolia + Bubble DB)

This will be a paid job. I’m looking for someone with deep expertise in Bubble DB responsiveness + Algolia to help with search result performance issues in my app.

I’ve integrated Algolia to power my search results successfully (results are fast and accurate) but there is a common use case I’m not sure how to solve.

When I integrate the results from Algolia and filter them with data in the Bubble DB it gets slowed down a lot (unsurprisingly)

Anyone out there that I can walk through my app and help me solve the performance issue?

Not sure if this fully matches what you’re looking for, but I recently released a native Bubble plugin that handles semantic-style search directly on Bubble data — without using AI embeddings or vector databases.

It works by searching against Bubble DB types and lets you fine-tune how matching and relevance behave, which might be useful alongside (or instead of) something like Algolia depending on your needs.
