Hi guys. Has anyone experienced some of the features of the new editor being forced into the old one?
For instance, the biggest issue for me now is the Workflow tab being forced into the standard List view every time I open a browser tab. It ignores the previous preference for Grid view. I have no idea what is the logic behind List view when you’re not working on mobile/tablet, as to have an absurd amount of white space in the screen. I’m not even getting into the tini tiny fonts choosen in the new editor as this is not being forced now, thank God
I believe the “new” layout has been the default for over a year now. Were you still able to use the old horizontal layout?
Not that one. The new editor has a View option where you can select Grid View, which is very similar to the cards we had on the old layout. However, since yesterday, every time you open the Editor, it resets all preferences, so it goes back to the list view and resizes everything to the left.
I understand using list view if the app is a tiny mvp with 10 workflows, but its pure useless once you have users where you have hundreds of workflows. Even with 50+ reusable elements to organize it better (and make the Editor lighter), its still in the dozens so Grid view and resizing the blocks is a must
Check if you have any adblock or privacy extensions, I had to disable it all for the editor and clear all cookies. Then I had new features like the API Connector json parsing and it was remembering settings again.
For the new editor it is taking some getting used to. Upping the scale of the browser to 110% and keeping light mode for now is helping find stuff. dark mode contrast is too high or low for me
