We all know the struggle: users upload photos of receipts that are dark, blurry, or sitting on a messy table. The OCR fails, and the data is lost.

DocuClear solves this with two powerful versions:

  • :memo: Basic OCR: Extracts English text directly in the browser (client-side).

  • :triangular_ruler: Auto-Crop & Perspective Warp: Automatically “un-tilts” the image. You can take a photo from an angle, and it will flatten it like a PDF.

  • :flashlight: Adaptive Thresholding: Removes shadows intelligently.

  • :globe_showing_europe_africa: Multi-Language OCR: Supports 100+ languages (Portuguese, Spanish, French, etc.) and returns a Confidence Score for the data.

What’s new in V2?

  • :mobile_phone: Dedicated Mobile Element: We built a custom React Native element! No more dealing with weird web view workarounds.
  • :brain: Offline AI & OCR: The element runs OpenCV (for edge detection and contrast) and Tesseract OCR right on the user’s phone. 100% private, no API costs, and works offline!
  • :bug: The iOS WebView Bug is DEAD: For those still using the web element wrapped in an app, we fixed the infamous bug where iOS would aggressively force the camera preview into a weird floating Picture-in-Picture window. It now stays perfectly glued to your UI layout!
  • :globe_showing_europe_africa: Smart Language Engine: Just type “eng”, “por”, “es” or even “PT-BR” and our engine automatically maps it to the correct Tesseract training data.
