Document Scanner Plugin?

Hi,

I’m making an app to manage an administrative processes support service. Right now requests allow taking a photo of a document, but I would like to have that scanned instead. I’m thinking of something like the photo-scanning function on EverNote or on DropBox.

Is it possible here and so how?
