New responsive editor

Hi there, I was wondering why the text is not collapsing when I shrink the size of the screen? Thanks!

You likely have a minimum or fixed) width on the text elements larger than the screen in your screenshot…

So check that first (or feel free to share some screenshots of the layout settings for your texts)…

Hi there, thanks! I have fixed it, also I have a problem regarding row, as I cannot have the 2 components on the same height, even if I play with the margins it still doesn’t work, anyways around this?

I’m not sure what you’re talking about… (what components? what row? what height are you trying to make them? Where are they?)…

This are the 2 groups

Without seeing you layout settings for all the relevant elements (and container elements) it’s impossible to say (I’m not sure screenshots will help here, unless you share screenshots of every element on the page)…

A link to your editor will be much simpler, so feel free to share a link if you want someone to take a quick look…

yep, got you! here is the link Trendhunter | Bubble Editor

Hi I think I have fixed it, thanks for the help! But one more problem I am facing is that when I make the screen to 320, the repeating group does not shrink.

Again, without seeing your app I can only guess (your app link is set to private, so I can’t see it)…

But if the RG is not shrinking (and you want it to) then your responsive settings must be wrong - (again, you must have some minimum width set on the RG or its parent containers)…

Hi there, I have sent the editor link in my previous message, can it be opened?

No, it’s set to ‘private’ so no one can access it apart from you…

You need to set your app to ‘Anyone can view’ in the Editor Access Permission in your app General settings…

My bad sorry, didn’t know about this, here is the link

There aren’t any repeating groups on that page…

What am I looking at?

hey there, it is the page called “markerttrend”

There’s too much going on here to be able to explain it in a forum post…

But almost every single element on that page is set to ‘fixed width’ with a fixed width in pixels, so they won’t change in width…

If you want your elements to change width as the page width changes you’ll need to set your minimum and maximum widths for all your elements accordingly…

It looks as though you haven’t got to grips yet with the new responsive engine, so I’d recommend taking some time out to learn how it works (there are loads of tutorials available), then you’ll understand more of what you need to do to get your pages behaving responsively.

Thanks very much, yes definitely, I don’t have much clue about the new responsive I do need to learn how to do it, thanks for the tips!
