Bubble is expected to open up beta in April. We will get it built once that’s the case.

A few months ago, I posted a topic about this and the @ZeroqodeSupport team, which already has access to the beta, mentioned that this was a Bubble limitation:
*“At the moment, there isn’t a dedicated plugin in the Bubble ecosystem (including Zeroqode) that allows Bubble Native apps to open the device’s native contact picker and fetch contact data directly back into Bubble. This is due to current technical limitations with how Bubble Native wrappers handle device APIs and permissions.”

I’m not sure if this is still a limitation or how it could be integrated with the new beta opening in April. I’m not sure who on the Bubble team handles this, but it would be worth tagging the right person to check whether this is now possible.

I’m sorry to hear that this limitation is still causing a bit of a roadblock for your project. I completely understand why having a native contact picker is so important for a seamless mobile experience.
Regarding the current status, this remains a technical limitation within the Bubble Native ecosystem for the time being. However, with the upcoming updates to Bubble Native expected in April, we are very optimistic!
We are keeping a close eye on these developments. As soon as Bubble provides the necessary API hooks and permission handlings to make this possible, we’ll be more than happy to jump back in, explore these native features, and work on a solution for you.
In the meantime, I recommend keeping an eye on our official documentation and the Zeroqode Forum for any sudden announcements regarding mobile features.
