Hi Everyone,

I just released a new plugin: Algolia Search v5 | Web and Mobile

I built this for Bubble apps that need search to feel fast, scalable, and much better than native search once the dataset starts growing.

The plugin includes a headless instant search element for web plus server-side actions for searching records, fetching single records, adding records, deleting records, and managing Algolia indices. On web, it gives you true search-as-you-type behavior. On mobile, it works through the server-side actions, so you can use the same plugin for Bubble mobile apps too.

This is a great fit for marketplaces, directories, ecommerce apps, content libraries, internal tools, and any app where search is a core part of the experience.

One of the biggest advantages here is speed. Algolia is built for extremely fast search, and this plugin makes that usable inside Bubble without having to piece the whole integration together yourself.

It also supports:

  • highlight outputs

  • mapped fields you can bind directly in Bubble

Really solid plugin! Algolia’s search speed is unmatched for large datasets and having geo search + polygon search support built in makes it extremely versatile. The fact that it works for both web and mobile with the same plugin is a huge plus. Does the highlight output work well with Bubble’s repeating groups for displaying search results?
