[PLUGIN] Keybind Master - Take full control of your apps keybinds [BETA TESTERS NEEDED]

Keybindmaster

Keybind Master

Binds an action to a shortcut, and allows you to press/hold to activate a trigger, add multiple shortcuts to a singular command, add ‘series’ type shortcuts (like up, left, right down - do something).

Why I made this

The free ones aren’t suited to my needs, and I wanted to bring some more interactivity within my application. This thing gives you way more control of keybinds and shortcuts then you would know.

:video_game: Make Games (combined with Mouse Detection Trigger & Energizer, you can do a ton of interactive logic).
:zap: Create hotkeys for your application with various triggers.
:memo: Works great with @rico.trevisan’s Tip Tap: Notion-Like Rich-text Editor

How it works (the shortcut key is 4, so only 4 will show completed when the hold time is reached, which is 5 seconds).

Later:

  • Record commands
  • Unbind/Bind
  • Manual keybind trigger (simulate or fire a keybind manually).
  • Reset (rebinds the commands - useful for SPA’s)
  • Target specific element
  • Interactive demo
  • STATE: When pressed is key (true/false)
  • Action to trigger immediately after shortcut but not complete the shortcut if a hold time is active. (can do that now with states but will add an action as well).
  • Custom actions (to trigger on specific key presses within sequences or combinations).

Yes! That’s why I am going to have a lot of fun with this plugin. You can add a sequence of keys and have that trigger an event, or manually fire events based on the list of keys pressed.

Send me a DM with the APP ID of your choice and I’ll send you an invite. Later you’ll be able to sign into my app and give feedback as necessary.

Looks like this would be useful for native-app like interactions (long press/double tap) etc so would like to give this a test drive!

TIA
