I just launched Skeleton Content Preloader, a new plugin that allows you to add a lightweight, skeleton-style placeholder animation to any element, including those in Repeating Groups. It automatically detects when new cells become visible, and is also able to tell whether the data inside is fully loaded or not and show the animation accordingly.
