Populating data in RG from date range

Im trying to create a report from a user selected date range. This is the first time I have worked with date ranges and Im pretty new to working with dates beyond a single entry.

I have an RG with the search set to the date range

Ive got a second RG within the first setup like

Im assuming current date is the first date picked because you can only add to date, which is what Ive done in the second RG.

Ive selected 2 days, today and tomorrow. Today has data, tomorrow doesnt. but nothing comes up in the report.

If I just set it up without the range it works like expected.

“Current Date/Time” is specifically “what time it is right now”, similar to how “Current User” refers directly to the user currently on the page.

So how would I select the first date in the range? Even still if I have current date shouldnt it be showing todays date. Have I not done something within the date range expression correctly?

Any reason why the date → selected range contains selected range?

Only that it was the only way to get it to go blue. With the date range stuff I have little to no idea what I am doing so I just played until it went blue.

Yeah - I’m afraid that this might be incorrect. Maybe you could book some time here to debug why you’re facing an issue

You can set 2 seperate date constraints in your search/filter. One for “more than start date” , another for “less than end date.”

Use the rounded off to date operator to get the start date to 12.00am and rounded off to date + days 1 to get the end date to 12.00am.
