Responsive Design Elements Not Behaving Same Way

I am in need of assistance. In the design process I am doing what I feel should work but am getting frustrating results as they appear to be unexplainable and unfixable.

I have put together a group that contains other elements such as other groups.

I have one group that contains various text elements that are set up to be horizontally aligned to each other.

Then in the settings for responsive mode, I got it to work as intended. Afterward, for the purposes of utilizing bubble’s full capabilities and power I decided to just copy the group and change the text in the hopes of fast development.

I have now spent about 4 hours fiddling with the issue as the copy group doesn’t behave the same way, despite having all the same settings.

I went further into my testing and just created a new group and found the new group didn’t behave as intended either.

Below are screenshots of the elements, settings and behavior in responsive design. I also linked a video at the end to see a demonstration of the issue. It would be greatly appreciated if anybody could explain how to fix the issue or verify that it is a bug of sorts or a “glitch”.

This is the copied group - which at this point I lost track and could just be a new group ( so frustrated)

Notice how all the settings are the same…so why do they not behave the same? The “copied” group goes off page when the page shrinks.

Below are screen shots of the settings for the text elements in each group, for both page view and responsive view…again, notice all settings are the same.

After posting I of course continued trying to figure it out ( hard headedness )…

seems like the issue was with the link in “copied” group for the company website. I deleted that link and added a new one and it works now.

But still, why would the link have caused the issue?

@boston85719 It looks like you’ve had no response to this.

Did you manage to figure it out? I am about to write up my own post on responsive design issues and am scanning the forum for answers before I do…

I just left it at this:

So, as you mention I had no response…and didn’t get back to trying to fiddle with the issue.

What specifically are you focused on in responsive design?

Hi Boston - no I didn’t post or resolve the issue. I ended up using CSS which is probably where I should have started.
