Restore purchases workflow action missing

Hi all,

I’m currently setting up in-app subscriptions for a native mobile app and noticed that the “Restore Purchases” / “Restore Transactions” workflow action is no longer available under Native Mobile actions.

Right now, I only see “Initiate subscription purchase” and “Open subscription settings”.

From a platform perspective, this is a bit concerning because Apple requires apps with in-app purchases to include a way for users to restore purchases (typically via a “Restore Purchases” button).

A couple quick questions:
• Is this action being intentionally hidden based on app/subscription state?
• If so, at what point does it become available again?
• Or is this currently missing/bugged?

Just want to make sure I’m not overlooking something — and that we can remain compliant with App Store review requirements.

Thanks!

Any thoughts on this? @nick.carroll

Work on this is in progress - hope to have an update tomorrow

Hello, Could you please let us know if there’s any update? Do we even have a chance of being accepted by AppStore review without Restore Purchase in mobile app?

Also another question: Since the Restore Purchases action is currently not available, would you recommend adding a note on the paywall like:

“Already subscribed? Restore it in your App Store settings”

or is it better not to include any restore-related messaging until the native restore functionality is available?

Thanks!

The App Store Guidelines are pretty clear on this:

App Store Guidelines (3.1.1) require apps with non-consumable, non-renewing subscriptions, or auto-renewable subscriptions to include a visible “Restore Purchases” feature. This allows users to restore purchased content across devices. Do not automatically restore purchases at app launch.

@nick.carroll

I know that. So how other bubble users submit their apps with IAP but without restore Purchases?

Looking forward to an update on this, when possible @nick.carroll

This is now live!
