Searchbox isn't displaying items i want it to

Hello, friends.
I’m trying instruct my searchbox to find data from my names field but it can’t display any names though my name field has names. How can I go about this?

Hi there, @lindamakachi… the issue could be related to the default privacy rule on the User data type, so check out that link and see if it helps.

Not really, I enabled everyone else to view the names

As I suspected, you haven’t allowed everyone else to find users in searches… try checking that box.
