SEO - image alt tags

If I have optimized image alt tags can I place them in Bubble?

Well you can use an HTML element and paste whatever HTML tags you have. That will just work.

It would be good to look at having the ALT tag added to the image module to allow us to set the ALT text to further enhance SEO and optimize the image.

In addition, there doesn’t appear to be a structure followed by Bubble in terms of H1/H2/H3 tags for on-page optimization.

When you set text as a Heading 1 Style inside of Bubble, maybe we can declare whatever style as an H1/H2/H3 and have it render as such in the source code/html. This can be done at the style level vs. the element level too is my thought. Maybe both.

This will further enhance on-page seo beyond just the title and description tag that each page currently has.

Any potential update to declaring a Style as an “actual” H1/H2/H3/H4 as well?

Yes we can put that option part of the style.

This would be excellent.

The biggest thing is that it declares it as such in the source code, not just the style name.

That’s not what I’m talking about. I’m talking about making this part of the styles defined in the styles tab.

That’s what I suggest as well. But like an ALT attribute, declaring text on the page as (beyond just the style name) is significant for on-page SEO and structures the page properly so that Google knows what’s important and whats less important.

I’m trying to find where to add image ALT tags.

Update: From another post by @JustinC: To add alt tags to an image you need to first go to settings>SEO settings>expose the type of tags for text elements=y
