Show Elements or Set State

Hi community,

I’m working on my first Native App at the moment and I was wondering if there is a generally accepted standard switching between groups.

I began with “Show/Hide Elements”, but found this not quite nuanced enough and switched to "Set States’ (and using Conditions - visible within the groups) as well as tracking movement between Groups (ie… Active Group and Previous Groups). However, I’m starting to doubt myself now :expressionless: Therefore, thought I would reach out to people with more experience to see if someone has a great way of doing this?

Thanks

IMO states gives you better control and your workflow pane stays cleaner. You can show hide multiple groups with a single state switch.

Further, I think hiding groups on page load and showing them with states is the least resource intensive method of displaying different views.

Duke,

Appreciate the answer. For navigation bars, do you apply a certain trick between the “main” that would show the logo and key items, vs. the click through which would display “< Back”, Page title?

Hopefully that makes sense, if not happy to post some pictures for examples?

Thanks,
