I’m trying to add a button that signs users in with Apple.
I see that the Bubble team is still working on an Apple plugin to make this happen. I also saw that there are some paid plugins, but they may or may not handle the login natively and may open an external browser, which Apple does not really like.
I also read about some more complicated API workflows involving decoding JWT tokens, Apple’s privacy rules, generating a Key ID, using a .p8 file, and other configuration steps.
I’m posting here because I still haven’t found a solid answer for offering Sign in with Apple in a Bubble native mobile app, especially since Apple is almost forcing developers to add it in order to get published on the App Store.
Has anyone successfully implemented this and passed Apple’s review?
Apple only really requires it if you offer other ones like Sign in with Google, Facebook, or any other ones like that. If you only offer email and password, you should be fine.
I haven’t actually used it myself, but Bubble published a Sign in with Apple plugin for native mobile. They’ve just called it “Apple”. You’ll find it if you search “Apple” and filter by official plugin (currently added to 21 apps lol).
Hi everyone. Sorry for the confusion about this plugin.
The mobile team at Bubble is working on releasing this functionality natively for the mobile editor, and unfortunately this is a test that got published in public by mistake. It’s a work in progress so it doesn’t work as you all have noticed.
Please ignore for now, and the team will push an update to make it disappear from the plugins search
@building4stripe I think you just raised awareness of an important issue for the Bubble team to fix.
I was genuinely surprised to learn that they hadn’t implemented it yet. They’re doing incredible work with AI agents, but this should have been done yesterday.
