Sitemap doesn't change when slug changes

Hello team Bubble,

Perhaps I’m a bit impatient with the sitemap generation (how long does it normally take to ‘regenerate’ a sitemap?) But basically, I’ve encountered the following behaviour with the dynamic sitemaps:

  1. I start of with dynamically generated URLs for ‘services’ in my application
  2. Due to circumstances, these slugs weren’t very accurate, so I made a change in the app (and now they get generated properly). For the ‘old’ services, I had to change the slugs directly in the database.
  3. As a result, the links of the old services (that are included in the sitemap) don’t work anymore as they still use the old slugs.

In an attempt to remediate this, I’ve tried the following:

  • Uncheck ‘services’ to be shown in the sitemap > release. Re-check the box again > release again. Unfortunately, this didn’t help.
  • Waited a few days (2, I think?), still no result (so maybe it takes longer?)

Is there anything else I should try?

After +/- 4-5 days, the slugs have updated. Guess the main bug was my impatience :slight_smile: :sweat_smile:
