I encountered such a problem, when uploading the sitemap.xml file to the root directory of the site, the file is loaded, but when I try to open the file via the direct link euro-map.eu/sitemap.xml, I get an error in the browser every time on the rows of the file. The uploaded file itself has no errors at the specified location. And of course Google cannot accept this file and process it.
I suspect that the xml file is modified on the Bubble server side, because if you upload a file with a different resolution, such as .txt, then the text is displayed normally in the browser without changes…
