Uploaded sitemap.xml not showing up in www.website.com/sitemap.xml

Recently I made a dynamic page for SEO using slugs - www.website.com/landing/slug-urls

So when you go to any slug-url link here, it will open that dynamic page with dynamic content as per the slug-url.

Since, these dynamic pages were not in the default sitemap.xml, I did 2 things -

  1. Unchecked “Expose a sitemap file” from SEO settings of bubble.
  2. Uploaded custom sitemap.xml in “Hosting files in the root directory” in settings.

However when I go to www.website.com/sitemap.xml, the custom sitemap is not showing up. It is showing the default bubble one only.

One thing I saw is that this uploaded sitemap.xml was showing up in my bubble file manager. However the link to it is very long and weirdly encrypted type. And when I try submitting this weird url to google search console it is not accepting. It accepts this URL type only - www.website.com/sitemap.xml

Nevermind, made it work. So I deleted the file from live DB, then went to test branch. Uploaded the sitemap in the root directory in test mode and then deployed it to live. Now this root directory page is showing up in the live branch too.
