Store data from API in custom state to display in a repeating group and then add/remove rows before saving to database

Hi everybody, as the title says, I’m trying to save the json result from a API call containing an array and store the data in a custom state to then display in a repeating group. In the repeating group I want to be able to add and remove rows and also and save the information to the database when the user clicks save. What is the best way to approach this? TIA
