Stripe Marketplace Express Plugin

anyone used this plugin before? i want to use it to enable partial refunds but i’m struggling to make calculations with it
i tried using this[check screenshot] but it doesn’t work

Hi @tobixzybolumole,

Thanks a lot for using our plugin and reaching out on the forum

Could you please provide more details about what’s not working as expected on your end? We’ve tested our plugin on our demo by creating a platform charge for a user and then refunding half of it, as you’ve shown in your screenshot.

Here are two screenshots: one showing how the platform charge looked after it was created, and another showing how it looked after triggering the Refund action. Another screenshot here for you to see how the Refund action was set up.

Additionally, it’s a good idea to check the developer logs when working with the Stripe API. They provide more detailed information about where the error occurred. In your Stripe Dashboard, click on the Developers button, which is usually next to the Test Mode button or in the bottom left corner of the window. Then, click on the Logs tab to see all the API calls made. Check the screenshot below to see exactly where to navigate!

Hope to hear from you soon with more details. Have a happy new year :star2:

Best regards :sunflower:

Good evening, happy new year
How were you able to refund half of it?
I tried multioly the dynamic cost by 0.5 but it’s not working

it’s working now though
might have been a bug initally

Hi @tobixzybolumole,

Thanks a lot!

As you can see in this screenshot (also attached above), we’ve added the same multiplication, and it’s working normally. It’s quite strange why this issue occurred on your end, but we’re glad it’s working as expected now.

In case you encounter this behavior again or have any questions about the plugin, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us anytime!

If you have a moment, we’d really appreciate it if you could give us a quick feedback about the plugin on the Bubble marketplace. It’s as simple as opening the editor, going to the plugin tab, selecting the plugin, and scrolling down until you see the feedback form. Feel free to rate the plugin as high as you’d like and provide a brief description of your experience :hugs:

Best regards :sunflower:

Wanted to share an update here, the issue wasn’t a bubble bug but rather from stripe as they only accept “positive integars”. The amount i was refunding was 55 by 50% which gives me 27.5 which is a rational number so i rounded the figure to the nearest whole number.

Hi @tobixzybolumole,

Thanks a lot for confirming!

We hope this information will be helpful to any users who might also face this issue. We truly appreciate you adding this to the thread
