Stuck on Getting Started 4.9

Adding the constraint “Company= Current page’s Company” to the “Search for Jobs” data source in the jobs table, as instructed by the video, causes all of the job posts in the preview to disappear.

I backtracked until I could see the jobs in the preview and then checked after every step and it is definitely the first constraint that causes it. I even tried the second constraint without the first, and it worked. It’s only Company= Current page’s Company" that’s causing this issue.

A) Do you have the current page company set?
B) Do you have privacy rules that could create this issue?

What debugger show for constrain when you click on current page’s company?

A) In both the editor and the preview, I’m on the company page. Is that what you meant by set?

B) I haven’t altered any privacy rules yet.

I haven’t used the debugger tool before, so I’m not sure if I’m using it correctly, but the word “constrain” doesn’t show up in the info section when either company or table jobs are selected in the dropdown.

It’s possible that this is because I had to delete the data for Hana Li’s account and Orbit because I accidentally logged out and it wouldn’t accept my password to log back into her account. I just set it as 1234, so I know I had the right password. I couldn’t change the password because Hana’s email isn’t real.

I remade the jobs for Orbit and they show up without the constraint, but not with it.

No, I mean if the current page have been set with a company. This is not enough to set a page to a type, you also need to provide a DB item to the page. I most case, the url will end with 12345678x12345678 . Youcannot just click “preview” on a page that have a type assigned. This is probably why you don’t see anything. Basically because the Current page company is empty.

For debugger, you can read this: The debugger | Bubble Docs
And watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UNtXp_VDssk

Okay, so knowing how to use the debugger, it looks like it thinks the current page’s company is the old Orbit that I deleted. I made the location San Fransisco instead of New York so I could tell them apart and it’s still listing New York as the current company’s location. How do I make it recognize the new Orbit as the current company?

Cna you share screenshot of your settings? Not sure how you have set things.

So, I don’t know what I changed, but it works now.
