Subdomain Setup Error

Hello. I’ve been through the forum and haven’t been able to find a solution that works. I’ve set up a few apps at domains before and it’s straightforward.

This time I’m trying to setup an app at a subdomain. When I enter the subdomain.domain that I want, it comes back with there was a problem check your domain.

The domain is on google domains and I don’t have anything else associated with it.

Can anyone get me in the right direction? Thanks.

Do you have a screenshot of what you have? I’ve connected one of my subdomains on Google Domains over to Bubble and it worked fine.

Heres the message I get:

Theres probably something I need to do on the Google Domains side first?

Hmm…, I did mine with a .com domain so I’m not sure what’s up with that, but you’re suppose to type the domain name on Bubble first then it gives you records to put into Google Domains.

This seems like a common issue happening recently, @eve any ideas? If not, I’d recommend reaching out to Bubble Support at support@bubble.io

I hadnt followed directions correctly. Specifically: to connect to a new domain, first click Delete this Domain. Once I clicked Delete this Domain, the previous domain I’d used appeared in the box. Repeated this process a few times until the box remained empty - then started from scratch and it worked as normal.
