System field "createdby" changed when record is modified

@emmanuel when the record is modified the system updates the system field “createdby” to the user who modified the record. Is it a bug? To me it doesn’t seem logical to be so, there are system fields created at and modified at, so maybe you could have two fields createdby and modifiedby?

That definitely doesn’t seem right. I would not expect any system to update the Created By or Create Date fields.

I can confirm this behavior. It has caused us to create/reference our own creation date field in our records.

This shouldn’t be, please file a bug report.

i tried to reproduce it here but couldn’t https://test377.bubbleapps.io/version-test/bugrep
at this page it works correctly.
Not sure what is causing that behavior in the real app. Would you take a look if I send you a link to the live app?

Please file a bug report, but make sure your workflows are correct, looking at the code i don’t see how that could happen…
