Quick PSA that since yesterday we have opened the Mobile Beta category to every user. This category used to be for those in the closed beta but that has changed now that we are in public beta.
Please use the Mobile Beta for all your questions and feedback around the new mobile editor for native mobile apps.
Would it be possible to keep the forum ‘mobile-clean’ as a default just like before? I am not interested in the billion mobile topics that are popping up. I like to scroll through the forum and read and answer or like whatever is interesting. Now I always need to double check the category which I personally find very annoying.
Maybe users can opt-in to see mobile category in the feed if they wish to.
You might know this already, @hi_bubble (maybe your reply was focused on the default aspect), but you can mute the mobile category by going to the Preferences section of your profile. In that section, click on the Tracking tab, scroll to the bottom, and add the mobile category to the Muted dropdown.
Again, maybe you were looking for the category to be muted by default and users would have to opt in to see it, but I think that is unlikely to happen, so at least you can opt out if you’d like. Back in my forum days, I came across a lot of folks who didn’t know you could mute categories, so just throwing it out there.
