Hey @joeyruss , thanks for the explanation! I followed your steps, though I get the same error message as you used to, i.e. API Connector error: the Oauth2 API Tink is not configured properly - Received error from api. Can you see if I have done something wrong below?

The setups looks ok, the only thing I can think is that you need to add the user scope. Try adding user:read into the scope as well.
You were right @joeyruss, the user:read made it all work. Thanks Joey and @ambassa.steve for your help on this

Hi @joeyruss. I was reading through your helping points on here and was glad to see the community vibe. I’m also working on an app that will require these steps. I’m not yet at the api point at the moment. I’m still battling with error messages about useragentdata on Chrome. Once I get to this api stage, I will surely reach out for help.
