Hi! Is there a way to make it so that you can create a feature for a marketplace where instead of people paying with money they could trade goods?
Yes, it is possible. I would probably have a cart page regardless and add things to the cart and a way to find their values (still money?). Then, the pay button will show a list of Current User’s goods that Current user will mark until it is equal to the cart’s value. When the user is done, the exchange will happen by transferring cart items to the Current User and the goods marked by the current user to the sellers. Of course you have to keep in mind, a seller might not accept some goods maybe. So, you should probably have a way of setting preferences.
