Tried Bubble's AI Builder Again

I tried Bubble’s AI builder again this morning…

It’s actually getting a lot better.

I’m starting to get impressed.

Still needs some work, but it’s understandable based on what it’s actually doing.

Does help a lot if you already understand Bubble. But it’s starting to get there.

Would suggest giving it another try and seeing all the new improvements.

Added: The good thing is I didn’t run out of credits… that’s worth a lot right there :slightly_smiling_face:

Also added: I built a taxi cab app with distances, etc between the user and driver. It added what I needed except the api key, etc. Was impressed. It’s definitely getting there with other AI builders. I would say it will be there very soon. Good job.

What did you try?

Built an app using the AI Builder.

Added: To clarify, it was a web app. I’m not too up on the mobile app thing yet. I’ll try the mobile part out soon.

Also added: It actually taught me some things about setting up the database etc. I had asked it about SPA’s and all and got some good advice that I hadn’t thought of before.

Added: Asked for a light and dark mode, and it knew how to add it :slightly_smiling_face:

Yes, I’ve given it a try recently as well, It has a lot of improvement’s since the first time I tried it but currently i think there are still a lot of improvements needed, it’s not really good at working with conditionals and updating existing element.

I agree with you there.

That’s why I was saying that if you already know Bubble, it helps a lot.

I tried it when it first came out, and it was terrible.

Tried it a few times since, and it was getting better.

Today, when I tried it, I thought it was a pretty big improvement.

I do think it will get better and better soon.

Yeah, exactly. I think once it gets better at working with existing elements and conditionals, it’ll become a lot more useful

Didn’t think existing elements were bad. You have a visual editor and can change anything in seconds.

You can also change your style guide quickly with fonts, etc.

It does set up option sets, a database, etc., which is pretty neat… and you can quickly edit those.

The conditionals, though, I noticed, were a problem.

Thanks for your feedback. Enjoy the rest of your weekend :slightly_smiling_face:

I haven’t tried the app builder yet but the AI agent has gotten better. It’s pretty good at creating/modifying datatypes and option sets

Definitely better, and we can only expect it to continue to improve.

I agree. It still needs some work, but it’s day and night compared to what it was when it was first introduced.

I would imagine if you had a Bubble agency, you could get work taking over and changing some things after clients used the AI.

You also, of course, have Buildprint, which is revolutionary for Bubble.

Overall, I think Bubble is moving in the right direction.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend, and thank you for your comment.

AI will be a solved problem in Bubble

I’ve always been of the opinion that your users can usually solve most of the problems if you give them a chance.

I guess some call them power users? Users like you and some others who are super smart when it comes to Bubble.

I would say turn them loose and let them go and see what they come up with.

I think it would be pretty predictable that they’d solve a lot of problems :slightly_smiling_face:

That or after they had an inexperienced developer…some nightmare apps out there
