Trigger a custom event from a reusable element from a reusable popup?

On reusable popups, I can’t select a reusable element from the Trigger a custom event from a reusable element action, because nothing is listed:

It works from pages. Why is this? Is there a workaround, or am I missing something?

Is the reusable element placed somewhere in the reusable popup?

If not … try adding a popup inside the popup with the reusable element placed there with size 1px x 1px or so. This inner popup would never be opened but will load the RE so that it can appear on your trigger a reusable action

Thanks, I’ll try doing that tomorrow. I want to use the email workflows from Canvas.
