In addition to Bubble’s status page, you could refer to cloudflare’s status page.
Hi all,
Apologies for the issues yesterday. It looks like what caused this was that an external source that we pull certain javascript resources from was sporadically failing during the time period people were seeing errors. This only affected apps that tried to regenerate their javascript during a period where it was unavailable (so apps that were being actively edited during the downtime were much more likely to be affected).
Because only a very small fraction of our apps were affected by this, the error rate wasn’t high enough to set off our alarms, which is why status.bubble.is did not show anything. We generally only update status.bubble.is for failures that affect a large fraction of users.
To make sure this doesn’t happen again, we are going to host all the javascript resources ourselves instead of pulling from an external source to remove that as a potential point of failure (the fact that we were pulling from an external source was due to some years-old code that we haven’t had to touch for a long time, and there’s no longer any justification for doing it that way).
Might this also speed up page load times?
I wouldn’t get your hopes up on seeing dramatic improvements, since we cache things pretty aggressively, but yes, especially when doing an edit -> preview -> edit -> preview loop, this may speed things up a bit
I still can’t “preview” my application !! same issue still display ,i am trying almost for 3 hours to login /preview my app pages !! for how long this issue will keep available ? please fix it
Hmm thats odd - have you tried clearing the cache on your Chrome browser (ctrl + shift + del)?
Could be your anti-virus blocking the external sites cloudfront.net - maybe try disabling your AV and reloading your Bubble app…
Luke.
I have checked the anti-virus and clear my cache …It is working fine now , but the weird thing is : this issue happen every morning in last 3 days , so i will check if this happen again tomorrow , Hopefully it will not
Thanks for your reply
This message is showing when try to acces my apps pages:
“Your browser was unable to load the application data. We’ve been notified of the issue. Please try again in a few moments and make sure not to use ad-blockers.”
This is happening with my apps frequently. I am evaluating if continue with Bubble, because when my Apps are Online in the future, that will cause a quit distubance for the users.
It sound to be fixed now. Look for the status: status.bubble.is
