[Update] Introducing Innovation Lab

Hi everyone — we recently launched Bubble’s Innovation Lab, a small internal initiative focused on testing new ideas to bring value to the Bubble community quickly.

While we remain focused on our core products, we think it is also crucial to leave room for quick iteration and exploring new ideas. Today we want to share with you the first two initiatives to come out of it.

Two experiments are live now:

  • AI User Research helps you test ideas, features, pricing, and GTM messaging as you build to get data-backed direction before investing unnecessary time. You can try it under Labs in the Bubble editor.

  • Reverse is an experiment for people who started with code or vibe-coded apps and want a Bubble-like way to visualize, understand, and iterate on what they’ve built. You can try it at reverse.dev — or share it with someone who may find it useful.

If you try either experiment, we’d love your feedback on what’s useful, what’s not, and what would make it better

Does the labs cost money? What happens during the experiment?

I saw the banner, but I have to admit I didn’t understand a thing about it.
I thought, “yeah… better not click that.” :joy:

Yeah, but the first try is free. After the UI will show you how much running en experiment will cost before you confirm.

Say you pick “test a pricing point”. After you’d configured the parameters for the experiment, we use a 3rd party tool we have partnered with to generate customer profiles of typical users within your app audience. Then test with each of those how they react to your pricing point experiment, and give you a report back with insights and recommendations.

Essentially: instead of trying to ask 1000 real people what they think of your pricing, we generated a 1000 AI people with similar characteristics (background, preferences, biases, etc) and ask them. Way faster and cheaper.
