Update URL parameters triggered by event Input Value is Changed

Hello There,

Is there any way to update the url parameters of a page in bubble when an input value is changed ?
The only solution I have so far is to trigger a “a go to page” navigation workflow - For performance reasons I would rather this not happen - any advice would be much appreciated.

Thank you !

No, I don’t know any way to do that. And making the browser change the URL is going to be seen as undesirable anyway I would have thought.

Maybe put the parameter on the User, or another thing ?

Thank you Nigel for being so active and helpful on this forum. Actually I am building a real estate listing platform using bubble, and this behavior of updating URL parameters on search is very common, you can check out https://www.airbnb.com/s or https://www.trulia.com/for_sale/Las_Vegas,NV/20000p_price/ - play with the filters, and see how the URL changes without the page reloading. This is the behavior I am looking to imitate.

Yeah, if you open the console you can see the page being re-read. But it looks like it isn’t.

It is clearly possible in Bubble, it used to do a refresh but now if you navigate to the same page it doesn’t. Try both the buttons here.

So if you need to do some other way, then I don’t know. Other than what bubble does now. Which is parameters only, rather than paths.
