Updating multiple apps based on the same template by updating the template?

Is there a way to update multiple apps based on a template without having to make the same changes in all the apps one by one?

I like how we do it in WordPress. If we update the theme source, and update theme for websites that are using it, the change reflects everywhere.

No…you can have a single app with sub apps that can do that, but not templates.

But then those sub-apps have to be in the same account, right? What about if the apps are on different accounts (Diff. clients) ?
