Using custom states in db queries

Hey gang, I’m quite new to the entire platform but it seems quite promising. Is it possible to pass custom state as param or here called “dynamic data” to a query?
Example below:
Type: Post
tags contains “custom state value goes here”

Appreciate the effort!
Cheers!

Simple answer, yes it is.

If you’re asking how to do it, you just need to refer to the custom state’s value in whatever expression or database search constraint you need to use it in, pretty much just as you’ve stated it above.

Hi,
big thanks for the response!
Is there any more in-depth documentation on how database in bubble works? It’s quite hard to understand how to set it up properly and optimize it.

Once again, thanks!
Cheers!

Hi @Light
for database optimization, check out “The Ultimate Guide to Bubble Performance” ebook - it’s probably the best resource out there
