When using “this input should not be empty,” it automatically prevents a “go to page” workflow action and it turns the input borders to red.
How do I do I prevent a button that is not a “go to” action from working, such as a “show element” action and change the borders to red? I want the show element button to be disabled by the “this input should not be empty.”
I think in that workflow, if there is anything that dynamically requires that input, any wf will not run. Did you test it ?
The only action in the button workflow is show an element. It appears to me that the invalid function only works with a go-to page action. Is that correct?

As explained in the previous reply… it works if anything in the WF refers to the input.
I think I got it–in the wf condition for input not empty.
