Videos I’m playing from YouTube aren’t being counted as views on the platform. The same thing happens when using the plugin: Video Player - YouTube Videos
“Embedded YouTube videos generally count as views when a viewer clicks play and watches for at least 30 seconds. Both manual website embeds and “inline embeds” (like those in search results) contribute to a video’s view count and total watch time. However, auto-played embedded videos do not increment view counts.”
I tried this test using both the native view and the plugin, clicking “play until the end” more than once, but there was no increase. I thought it might be something related to debug mode. Anyway, thanks!
