Workflow and Checkbox

I’m trying to figure out how to make a checkbox change via workflow. I created a custom state (Checkbox State - Categories) on a page element (test4) that sets the custom state to “yes” when an icon (Icon - All Categories) gets pressed.

I then added a condition on the checkbox (Checkbox - Category) as follows that

I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong in my setup.

create a repeating group set the status to cell clicked

in the conditional you put that if the states is equal to the current cell, change the icon
