Detect the current scrolling position of the repeating group. Use case: set a custom state to show only 10 items in your repeating group, once the scrolling positing approaches the end of the repeating group, change the custom state to show 20 items etc. This makes loading of repeating group much faster and smoother.
@Mothman
we have updated the plugin, Now it works for repeating groups that are in a floating group, just check Use in Floating Group checkbox in plugin settings.
to give it a try please upgrade to the plugin’s latest version, refresh the browser and try again
thanks!
it’s done so because in vertical scroll the number of items in the repeating group would not be defined and the plugin wouldn’t be able to calculate the scrolling position correctly
Has the vertical scroll functionality been added? I purchased the plugin but it is useless to me without this feature. A messaging app should not expand the entire page, just the group that it is contained in.
@levon - I am working on an app that has a large Floating Group which contains multiple repeating groups that are set to full list.
Is is possible to detect the scroll position inside a Floating Group?
We are not able to use the built-in bubble parameter of current scroll position because there is a FG header above the main FG and the current scroll position always returns 0. So we are trying to see if this or another plugin can help us detect the scroll position within a specific FG.
Hi @jagdish_bajaj, thanks for reaching out and a good question.
We’re afraid that this plugin doesn’t provide such a possibility. Sorry for the inconvenience.
We would appreciate it if you can provide a little bit more details about your use case to consider, in order to propose you a possible workaround and/or a plugin that might work.
