[2 New Plugin] Free Plugins only for YOU

Hello everyone,

This is my first post here. I have been using bubble for the last few weeks and am totally in love with it.

Today I have published my first two plugins that may help you in your bubble journey :slightly_smiling_face:

Plugin 1: HTML To Text Converter

This plugin allows you to easily convert any type of HTML into plain text.

Plugin 2: Word Document / .docx Downloader

This is also a simple plugin that allows you to download any HTML content into a word document. You can also use this plugin with BBCode to HTML plugin (by Blur Apps) to download Rich Text editor’s content into a word document.

Welcome to the Bubble Community! :tada:

Thanks for pitching in. This looks helpful. Thanks!

Can the word document creator work on the backend workflows? Can you create the document and then save it to the database on the backend?

That would make it a lot more useful. Let me know.

Hi Raku

Your Word document downloader seems to be just what I was looking for, thank you for making it and thank you even more for making it free. I have a few notes and questions please:

a. In your demo, downloading doc works but downloading docx the file is unreadable.
b. Can you please advise me on how best to achieve the following task scenario:

  1. A user uploads a Word file in English for example.
  2. A copy of the text is saved to the database so that user can translate the text to French for example.
  3. The user downloads the French version as a Word file but (this is the difficult part for me) the French Word file must maintain and keep the formatting of the original English file. I have not figured out how to achieve this. Must the English first be put in a rich text editor. I am confused about this so any help you can provide will be much appreciated.

Hello @J805

“Can you create the document and then save it to the database on the backend?”

I think this might be possible and I may add this feature to the plugin whenever I get free time :slightly_smiling_face:.

Hello @phrase9

“downloading doc works but downloading docx the file is unreadable.”

Yeah, I only checked the doc / docx file in google docs and it was working perfectly but when we use Docx file Microsoft word show an error.

Thanks for informing me. Will fix it as soon as possible.

About your questions b

I don’t have any idea. Sorry  :slightly_smiling_face:

Please, if I don’t convert to bbcode, will I have a problem with the html when converting to doc or docx?

Thanks,
