2016 to 2025 - 10 min. to build free native iOS/Android app 🔷

:green_circle: Yesterday, we learned several key insights that make it easier than ever to build an app with Bubble and seamlessly export it to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Using Jasonelle as a wrapper (but isn’t only that) is one approach, but you can also leverage Jasonelle for native Xcode functionalities, as highlighted in Bubble’s recent presentation. If you take the time to understand Jasonelle, a world of possibilities opens up—and it’s completely free. I’ve been using Jasonelle for over five years, and I’ve never needed to update my app versions on the Apple or Google Stores. Everything is managed within Bubble’s editor, with frequent pushes to keep things up to date.

When it comes to costs, Jasonelle is free, though Apple charges an annual $99 developer fee. In contrast, Bubble’s plan starts at $29 per month ($348 annually). It’s a choice between simplicity (Bubble) or a learning curve (Jasonelle). Plus, the Jasonelle forum is incredibly supportive, with a community always ready to help.

I find Bubble’s pricing reasonable, considering they employ a team of engineers and have streamlined the process of submitting apps to the Stores. If you’re looking to build and launch apps efficiently, Bubble and Jasonelle together offer a powerful, cost-effective solution.
