Add an element to a group directly (no dragging)

Is there a way to add an element to a group directly (via a menu) without having to drag such element within the group? I don’t want to use the Group these elements in a group function because that would create a third element.

I have an element A and a group B, and I just want to add A to B without dragging.

The only way I am aware of is to add the element to the page, then cut it and then select the group and paste.
