Add Hiding Rule VS Visible on Page Load

Hello,

Does the “Add Hiding Rule” in the responsive settings also keep the element from loading on page load (similar to the “Visible on Page Load” settings)?

If not, is there a way to keep a group element from being loaded on page load by page width?

Also yes. Visible on page load unchecked. Conditional “when current page width > x” this element is visible = checked.

Though hiding with responsive engine will prevent it from taking up any room horizontally. If you need to prevent it from taking up room vertically option two works if you check “collapse this element’s height when hidden”.

+1 That this feature should be highlighted prominently. It’s a common gripe that folks have and caused me a LOT of headache before I stumbled onto this workaround.
