There is a very big delay when selecting a photo for it to appear on the screen. This is causing a disturbance for onboarding as users think the app is broken. Is this coming soon as a feature like it is on desktop, and/or has anyone found a good work around?
How would you want to set a loading state for this? Just having a data source like “while image is loading” or a more opinionated, built in system for whatever is showing an image that was selected?
The former i think will solve for the immediate issue of users not seeing any feedback from the platform that something is loading after selecting an image from the native camera action. At times, it takes over 5 seconds, & I currently have no way to show the user that the file is processing. So as long as after the image is selected I can trigger a processing state and end the state when the process of loading is done, this would solve this issue.
I am having the same issue where the image takes around 4-5 seconds to display on the frontend
Were you able to figure this out?
