Hello Bubble Community,
I’ve been struggling to configure the Google Places Nearby Search by Location plugin for two days, and I’m reaching out for help!
Here’s what I’m trying to achieve:
- I have a Search Box where users can search for an address or a location (e.g., “Times Square”).
- When the user presses “Enter,” I want the Google Places Nearby Search to display a list of specific types of places (e.g., restaurants) within a 5km radius of the selected location in a Repeating Group below the Search Box.
- Once the user selects a place (e.g., a restaurant) from the Repeating Group, I’d like the selected location to appear on a Map with the marker centered on it.
Despite following various tutorials and advice, I can’t seem to make this work as expected. Either the Repeating Group doesn’t populate correctly, or the selected place doesn’t show up on the map.
If anyone could guide me on how to properly configure this plugin (or suggest an alternative workflow), I’d be incredibly grateful. You’ll definitely be the boss if you can help me resolve this!
Thanks in advance for your support!
