hey folks, had this rejection, i cant replicate the issue on any device amongst our testers, despite deleting the app and trying again and told apple this with an accompanying video. They replied with a rejection saying it may work in your test environment but if it doesnt work for us then that doesnt mean anything. my question is, if we cant replicate this in our testing environment how do we fix the issue? do we just make a small change that doesnt change any functionality and reapply?

Hi, damn I’m sorry. Have you tried the same build on TestFlight if from this problem? I would try this in the meantime.. and if there are problems I would go and create a new account (check everything on that account, maybe you didn’t trust a correct level of permission or it doesn’t have requests that you forgot to assign?).
Yep the test flight was running the same app versio..
We even deleted the app on all our devices and re installed and tried to recreate the issue, building new sign ups too but couldn’t recreate it.
Can’t it be that they test it on iPad? This is a topic that I still don’t fully understand.. From what I know it is not possible to send builds for iPad.. Maybe @nick.carroll can help with this
Yeah this can happen randomly. Try deploing a new build and submitting the new build for approval. You’ll get a different reviewer and it might go through no issues
OK, will do – thanks.
It definitely seems like the issue was isolated to that particular reviewer. I’ve since had the exact same build approved for external testing, and I know Apple checks login workflows during the beta review process. That suggests the login is functioning as expected.
